Expected Salary:

$25.00 to $31.00 per hour

Salary is determined based on role responsibilities, experience, skills, and education.

About the Role

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality parts efficiently while adhering to specifications. You’ll work under general supervision to set up, operate, and adjust CNC Lathe machines, transforming drawings and written instructions into tangible products.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete set-ups with general supervision.
• Oversee all phases of part operation set-up to achieve first article acceptance.
• Conduct accurate in-process quality inspections and maintain records.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance quality.
• Continuously improve processes and eliminate waste.
• Assist and train less experienced machinists.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in CNC Lathe operation and set-up.
• Proficient in using indicators, gauges, and inspection methods for precision parts.
• Ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0005”) and hold .0005 profile and roundness.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and tool life for aerospace machining.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (more with assistance).
• Experience with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma is a plus.
